Something about feet hitting dirt, sun in face (or face hitting dirt & sun on feet), makes us feel connected with the earth & where we begin & end. I'm so glad you love a good hike. I think of you on my small hikes, wonder if the same wind that ruffles my old, fuzzy head has touched your cheek today. Hike on!
